Here's a little about me.
I was born and raised in Georgia.
As a child I attended Summer Camp. One summer I came home and drew out the blueprint of my dream camp, this was both my introduction to design and the great outdoors. Spoiler alert they stuck.
In undergrad I studied New Media Arts, but fell in love with User Experience Design after taking a class on Usability Testing. I followed the experience up with an internship in Enterprise User Experience at The Home Depot, which I've continued into graduate school.
I currently attend Georgia Institute of Technology where I am pursuing a master's degree in Human Computer Interaction in the Digital Media track.
I have an interest in Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Physical Prototyping for UX. I'm a firm believer that not every problem can be solved with a sleek mobile app UI.
I spend most of my free time outside! I enjoy climbing, backpacking, and mountain biking. I once stayed awake for hours listening to what might have been a bear outside of my tent.
